Complex Gooiland by architect Jan Duiker is the calling card of the Nieuwe Bouwen. Tight and modern business. Light and air. Luxury but not poohy. Do not worry, that’s not cold. That is worldly and hip. You get warm under your duvet here. And that comes from the Hema. Very Dutch and just old-fashioned. Just like all other Dutch brands that you encounter in hotel Gooiland. They like to do it here a bit differently! Welcome to Hotel Gooiland, the first Dutch Brand Hotel in the Netherlands.
Hotel Gooiland has 46 standard rooms, 4 triple rooms, 2 family rooms and 4 suites. Just like the rest of the hotel, the interior design of the rooms is austere business, modern and dynamic, completely in line with the design, style and philosophy of architect Jan Duiker. No solid box springs, but steel Auping beds with an open space under the mattress. Air and light, just as Duiker liked it. Tight black-and-white desks and chairs with tubular frames, concrete-look floors. The touch of Piet Mondrian and Gispen. Eyecatcher is the alternative TV test image on the wall behind the beds, where radio and TV are combined in one image. You just sleep in the Media City. Colors such as Gooiland green, Hilversums heather pink, steel gray, sky blue, yellow mission tray and red theater can be found in all rooms. Almost unnecessary to say but everywhere is free wifi.
