Seven rooms, seven different names. Every room was given the French name of a muse. There were nine muses in Greek antiquity. The muses are the protectors of a certain area of the arts and science and are often depicted with a specific attribute. They are all daughter of the supreme god Zeus and Mnemosyne, the goddess of memory.
