Landau in der Pfalz, also known as Landau, is a German city in the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate. Landau is not only known as an old fortified town, or by the university, wine, garden and shopping city, but the metropolis of South-Palatinate. Landau is the geographical center of the southern wine route holiday region and is characterized by a wide range of recreational activities.
