About Amstelveen

Amstelveen is located in the province of North Holland to the south of Amsterdam. The city has not had its own railway station since 1950. But you can easily reach the city from the Amsterdam Zuid, Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena and Schiphol stations via the mentioned bus, tram and metro connections. It is the largest Dutch city without an NS station.

Shopping in Amstelveen is done at the Stadshart, here you will find the well-known names, but also the nice boutiques and innovative concepts. Near the shopping center Stadshart Amstelveen you will find the Cobra Museum. In the courtyard of the museum, a Japanese pebble garden has been decorated by Tajiri. Next to the Cobra Museum there is a second museum, this museum focuses on modern art. This is the Jan van der Togt Museum, which you can visit in the old village.

Furthermore, you can go out in this city. The city breathes culture. In addition to the various cultural institutions in the city center, there are also other real gems such as the Amstelveen Puppet Theater and the Museum Tram.
